A 19-year-old man died after he was found shot inside a vehicle at a McKinney apartment complex Friday night, police said.
Officers responded about 8:30 p.m. June 19 to a report of shots fired near the Larkin Apartments at 2301 W. White Street, according to a McKinney Police Department news release.
Responding officers found Jose Herberto Martin inside a vehicle in the apartment complex parking lot with a gunshot wound to the neck, police said. Martin was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The department’s Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the shooting. No arrests had been made, police said.
