
An 85-year-old woman was stabbed to death in her Brooklyn apartment, police said Wednesday.
Julia Boomer was stabbed multiple times all over her body inside her home on Throop Ave. near Macdonough St. in Bedford-Stuyvesant about 9:55 p.m. Monday, cops said. She was discovered mortally wounded by her daughter, according to ABC 7 New York.
Medics rushed Boomer to Kings County Hospital, where she died. A neighbor told ABC 7 the victim was a regular church goer who had lived in the neighborhood her entire life.
One person was taken into custody but has not yet been charged, police said. That person is a relative of the victim, according to ABC 7.
