In the nation’s deadliest mass shooting in two years, eight children, ages ranging from one to 14, are dead. A gunman in a domestic violence shooting shot ten people and killed eight between two homes in Shreveport, La. on Sunday, April 19, 2026. The suspect was later shot by officers after fleeing the scene in a stolen car.
