One person died and two were injured after a shooting Sunday night, April 19, in Santa Ana.
Officers responded just before 9 p.m. to the area of Borchard Avenue and Shelton Street, where multiple 911 callers reported hearing shots, said Officer Natalie Garcia with Santa Ana Police. The shooting location is in the area of Bristol Street and Edinger Avenue.
One person died in the shooting. Another person was in critical condition and a third victim was hospitalized with injuries that weren’t expected to be life threatening, Garcia said.
Police didn’t immediately release other information on the shooting, including if any arrests were made or what led up to the shooting.
