A 41-year-old woman was killed after a wild crash on the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge that caused her Jeep Wrangler to strike a Honda CRV, then a concrete median before overturning, police said Friday.

The unidentified driver was heading south on the Bronx span toward Astoria, Queens, when the crash occurred.

Witnesses saw the driver speeding and making unsafe lane changes on the bridge, police said. As she charged down the four-lane span, she swerved from the middle left lane to the left lane, where she struck the Honda CRV driven by a 63-year-old man.

The Wrangler bounced off the CRV, veered out of control, and struck the center concrete median before overturning and landing on its roof, cops said.

The Jeep finally came to rest in the middle left lane, cops said.

The woman died at the scene. Her name was not immediately disclosed as cops track down relatives.

The 63-year-old man driving the CRV, and a 56-year-old woman in the passenger seat were taken to Lincoln Hospital with minor injuries.

Traffic on the southbound side of the bridge was suspended for several hours as cops investigated the crash.
