Fort Worth police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run traffic crash that occurred Sunday morning on East Loop 820, according to a statement.
Officers responded to reports of a traffic accident about 10:35 a.m. near the Brentwood Stair Road exit.
Investigators determined a white vehicle struck the unidentified man who police believe had jumped over the center retaining wall and was crossing over the roadway on foot.
The vehicle did not stop, and the man died at the scene, police said.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further information on the crash was immediately available.
