Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt have called it quits — at least for now.
A source told People the pair are still “working on things” despite deciding to go their separate ways for the time being.
“They want one another to succeed and be happy. There have been points where they’ve split and have gotten back together,” the insider said, adding it’s still unclear whether the two will work things out this time around.
Hewitt and Davidson have been romantically linked since March 2025, after they were caught by paparazzi out and about, getting cozy, on several different occasions. The couple revealed they were expecting their first child together later the same year, and welcomed Scottie Rose Davidson on Dec. 12, 2025. She was named for Davidson’s New York City firefighter father, Scott Matthew Davidson, who died in the 9/11 terror attack.
“Our perfect angel girl arrived,” Hewitt wrote on Instagram, announcing the arrival of her daughter. “My best work yet, I am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief.”

News of their split comes after reports of turmoil in their relationship earlier this month.
A different insider previously told Us Weekly that Hewitt and Davidson are both “really dedicated to doing what’s right for the baby,” even amid their own struggles. What’s more, Hewitt is “in a good place” professionally, as is Davidson. They are also both “rooting” for each other, no matter what happens between them personally, the source added.
