
Officers responded to the reported shooting at 11 p.m. in the 4300 block of Carter Park Drive, Fort Worth police said in a news release.
Officers arrived with the Fort Worth Fire Department and found an unidentified man on the ground, shot multiple times. Police said he was given medical assistance, but died at the scene.
Police said witnesses reported finding him a few minutes after shots were fired in the area and called 911.
At this time, there have been no arrests in connection with the shooting.
Police said the Tarrant County medical examiner will identify the man.
There was a string of fatal shootings Sunday in Fort Worth. Two people were shot and one of them died around 4:30 a.m. after an argument in the parking lot of a club in the 2300 block of South Riverside Drive, according to police.
A man was also fatally shot at about 10:30 a.m. in the 4000 block of Ridglea County Club Drive, according to police.
None of the people killed have been identified at this time.
