Watauga police are investigating a shooting that left two men dead Sunday night, according to a statement.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person about 11:18 p.m. in the 6000 block of Storm Drive. While responding to the initial call, officers received information that two people had been shot at a nearby home.
Once there, police found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men, who haven’t been publicly identified, died at the scene, the statement said.
Police said a suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
No additional details about the shooting were immediately available.
