Emmys season is about ot begin, and with it, a slew of contenders destined for nominations and memorialization by way of snubs chatter.

More than 27,000 creatives are tasked with tapping the series that will be honored at this year’s ceremonyairing live on NBC Sept. 14 with a simultaneous stream on Peacock — with nominations set to be read live July 8 at 12:30 p.m. ET on Emmys.com.

Much like in 2025, reigning hits like ABC’s “Abbott Elementary,” Hulu’s “The Bear,” and HBO Max’s “Hacks” appear to again be locks throughout the comedy categories. HBO Max’s “The Pitt” and Apple TV’s newcomer “Pluribus” meanwhile seem to have dibs on drama, as there seems a looming consensus over limited and anthology series offerings — like Netflix’s “The Beast in Me” and season two of “Beef,” along with FX’s viral sensation, “Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette.”

Below are some of our predictions for the upcoming nominees:

Quinta Brunson in "Abbott Elementary," left, and Matthew Rhys in "Widow's Bay." (Disney/Gilles Mingasson; Apple TV)
