
An 80-year-old man was killed after a woman slammed into him from behind the wheel of a Lexus crossover SUV in Brooklyn moments before she plowed into a building Friday, according to cops and firefighters.
The elderly pedestrian was struck as the 63-year-old driver of the Lexus RX 350 took a right-hand turn from E. 92nd St. onto Rutland Road in East Flatbush at about 1:20 p.m., said police.
The man died at the scene. His name was not immediately disclosed.
After striking the elderly man, the luxury car hopped a curb and slammed into a building on Rutland Road, officials said.
The driver was not harmed and remained on the scene. There were no immediate arrests.
