Nicolas Cage is coming to town, and no, it’s not to steal the Dallas Public Library’s rare original copy of the Declaration of Independence.

The Academy Award-winning actor is headlining Fan Expo Dallas, a three-day event that bills itself as the Southwest’s largest celebration of pop culture. The event will run from Sept. 11-13 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center with one-day tickets starting at $33.

“Nicolas Cage is one of those rare performers whose career transcends genres and generations,” said Andrew Moyes, Vice President of FAN EXPO HQ. “Whether fans know him from blockbuster action films, comic book adaptations, adventure classics or his award-winning dramatic work, his impact on pop culture is undeniable. We’re thrilled to welcome him for his very first FAN EXPO appearance, and we know this will be one of the most anticipated guest experiences of the weekend.”

Other celebrities coming to the event include Mel Gibson, Kiefer Sutherland, director Sam Raimi, Alec Bladwin and Dolph Lundgren (Rocky IV). Also in attendance will be cast members from The Boys, Starship TroopersThe Lord of the Rings, The Goonies, Lost and more.

John Cena, Orlando Bloom, Chevy Chase, Alicia Silverstone and many others have attended in the past, as the annual event brings Hollywood stars to North Texas.

Autographs and photo ops are sold separately, as are tickets to an on-stage interview event at Fan Expo Dallas called Nicolas Cage Live. Tickets for all Nicolas Cage experiences will go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. central time.
