A 33-year-old woman was shot to death and a man was wounded when a fight ended in gunfire on a Brooklyn street corner early Sunday, cops said.
The clash broke out on Bergen St. and Howard Ave. in Crown Heights, with someone opening fire into the group about 2:20 a.m., cops said. About 100 people were gathered near Ooh La La Lounge and Bar when the shots rang out, according to News 12 Brooklyn.
The woman was shot in the back and a 34-year-old man was blasted in the stomach, cops said. The woman doesn’t appear to have been the shooter’s intended target, police sources said.
Medics rushed the woman to Brookdale University Hospital but she could not be saved. Her name was not immediately released.
The man made his way to Kings County Hospital by private means, where he was in stable condition.
Police have made no arrests.
