Australian tourist, 19, wounded in unprovoked stabbing in NYC McDonald’s near Penn Station

A 19-year-old Australian tourist was stabbed in an unprovoked attack in a McDonald’s near Manhattan’s Penn Station early Monday, police said.

The victim stabbed multiple wounds in his upper body in the McDonald’s on Eighth Ave. near W. 35th St. about 2 a.m., cops said.

Medics took him to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.

A suspect is being questioned but has not yet been charged, police said.

It wasn’t immediately clear if the attacker said anything to the victim before striking.
