Santa Ana contributed to community celebrations of Chicano Heritage Month in Orange County this August with a festival at Centennial Park.
A car cruise into the park kicked off the afternoon, which also featured entertainment and activities for families, concerts, community resources and more.
This was the fifth year for the city’s festival, with Mayor Valeria Amexcua saying that celebrating Chicano heritage is “an opportunity to celebrate the history, culture and traditions that have helped shape Santa Ana and make our community so vibrant.”
