A 70-year-old man was fatally struck by a wrong-way hit-and-run driver in the Bronx early Monday, police said.
The victim was crossing Morris Park Ave. near E. Tremont Ave. in West Farms when the driver, traveling north in the southbound lane, barreled into him about 5:55 a.m. and continued on with stopping, cops said.
The victim died at the scene. His name was not immediately released.
The driver has not been caught and cops have not released a vehicle description.
