A 56-year-old man died after a tree fell on him Saturday afternoon in Brooklyn as heavy winds from a nor’easter continued to whip the city.
The man was struck by the tree in East New York around 3:24 p.m. at the NYCHA Cypress Hills Houses at Euclid and Dumont Aves., cops said.
Footage from Citizen showed multiple firefighters working to extricate the victim from under the massive tree.
EMS transported him to Brookdale Hospital where he died.
