A 1-year-old girl and a 32-year-old man, were wounded when a gunman opened fire outside a Bronx fast food restaurant Monday, cops said.
The adult victim was struck in the ankle outside Los Munchies restaurant on Courtlandt Ave. near E. 156th St. in Melrose around 4 p.m., police said.
A bullet fragment hit the window of a 2023 Honda Civic parked nearby, and the baby girl suffered minor injuries when she was struck by the shattered glass. A 16-year-old girl who was also seated in the sedan was uninjured.
Both victims are innocent bystanders, cops said. They were taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.
Cops are looking for two men, including one spotted wearing a grey sweatsuit and black sneakers.
