Two Amazon employees were shot and wounded near the company’s Brooklyn fulfillment center in Red Hook, where they both work, police said Monday.

The victims, a 35-year-old woman struck in the chest, and her friend, a 23-year-old man hit in the shoulder, were taken by medics to New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and are in stable condition.

The man’s girlfriend, also an Amazon worker, was not hit.

Police said the victims were shot around 11:18 p.m. Sunday near Lorraine and Hicks Sts.

The male victim had just got off the bus and was walking to work with his girlfriend when he was shot.

The female shooting victim had just left a deli when she was struck.

Two suspects fled the scene in a light-colored sedan, police said, and the wounded victims stumbled into the Amazon warehouse a block away on Bay St., where someone called 911.

“We’re deeply saddened by this senseless act of violence and are focused on supporting our employees during this time,” an Amazon spokesperson said in a statement. “We’re working closely with the New York City Police Department as they investigate, and we’ll continue to cooperate with their efforts to identify the individual responsible.”
