A Queens man has been arrested for killing his 24-year-old wife, whose lifeless body was found inside their Queens apartment, cops said Wednesday.

Angel Apodaca, 22, was charged with murder, endangering the welfare of a child, and criminal possession of a weapon in Tania Morales’s slaying, police said.

Morales was found unconscious with injuries to her head and a cut to her wrist inside her home on Park Drive E. near Jewel Ave. in Kew Gardens Hills around 8:30 p.m. Monday, cops said.

Medics rushed Morales to New-York Presbyterian Hospital Queens, where she died.

The city’s Medical Examiner ruled the victim’s death a homicide, but her cause of death was not immediately clear.

Apodaca, who was brought in by police for questioning shortly after his wife’s body was found, believed she was cheating on him, multiple police sources told the Daily News.

Sources said that Apodaca told his mother that Morales attacked him with a knife and that he was defending himself when he struck her with a pole.

A child was present during the attack but not harmed, a law enforcement source said. The youngster’s relationship to the victim or the suspect was not immediately clear.

Apodaca has three prior arrests on record, with charges including robbery and assault, officials said.

His arraignment in Queens Criminal Court was pending Wednesday.
