Britney Spears put her little sister, Jamie Lynn, and ex Kevin Federline on blast, publicly vowing to “find a new family” rather than continue enduring how they have been treating her in recent years.
The pop star made the declaration in a scathing post shared to Instagram on Monday, which also featured a still from the 2003 movie “Uptown Girls” that a shows a young Dakota Fanning flipping the bird. She accused her 35-year-old sister of banning her from holding her niece, Ivey, though she does misspell name in the post.
“Jamie Lynn never let me hold Ivy one time when I would visit in Louisiana during covid in two week trips and Kevin wouldn’t let me use the bathroom when I would pick my children up in their house !!!,” Spears claimed. “They made me feel like a slave and have all their secret things they did behind my back and all I ever did was work for my dad.”
Ivey is currently 8 years old, which means she would have been between 1 to 3 years old during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic from 2020 to 2021. Jamie Lynn also has an older daughter, Maddie, who is currently 18 years old.
“I will find a new family,” Spears concluded.

Spears and Federline, her former backup dancer, married on September 18, 2004. They welcomed two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James — now 21 and 20, respectively — before filing for divorce in November 2006. Their split was officially finalized in July 2007.
The “Toxic” singer did not provide further details, nor did she explain what sparked her social media tirade. But it’s not the first time Spears hit out at her family. She previously said she felt betrayed by her family — including Jamie Lynn — for not helping her escape a controversial conservatorship, which ended in November 2021 after 13 years.
