Embattled actor and director Tim Busfield is accused of abusing several women in addition to the two children he’s been charged with touching inappropriately.

At least four adults have reportedly spoken to Albuquerque investigators about encounters they claim to have had with the 68-year-old Emmy-award winner between 1993 to 2000. Those women accused Busfield of groping their breasts while making sexual advances, according to USA Today’s review of a public records request published Friday.

The report references a 16-year-old former “intern” at Busfield’s B Street Theatre in Sacramento, who, during a Jan. 15 interview with investigators, alleged that Busfield “grabbed me in between the legs and pulled me down from the ladder and turned me around and stuck his tongue down my throat and touched me all over aggressively.” as well as woman who worked with the defendant on a horror film in the 1990s.

California father Colin Swift said in January that his 16-year-old daughter was abused by Busfield “several years ago” while auditioning for a role at that theater, according to New Mexico court records published by Deadline. Swift reportedly agreed not to go to the police if Busfield attended therapy.

The latter claim appears to align with the accusations of Claudia Christian, who told the Mirror U.S. on Sunday that Busfield forcefully rammed his tongue down her throat while they were working on the movie. She claimed to have told people on set about the incident when it happened, but nothing came of her complaint.

Busfield is slated to go trial in New Mexico in May 2027 in response to a Feb. 6 indictment on four counts of criminal sexual contact with a child. Those charges pertain to allegations the defendant inappropriately touched twin brothers multiple times between November 2022 and the spring of 2024 while working with them on Fox’s “The Cleaning Lady.”

One of the victims is said to have been 7 years old when the abuse began.

Busfield’s lawyer, Larry Stein, told TMZ on Monday that his client did nothing wrong with regards to Christian.

Busfield also denies any wrongdoing with regards to the boys he’s charged with molesting. He has not been charged with any crimes regarding the unnamed female victims who have spoken with authorities.

The Albuquerque Police Department hasn’t responded to a request for comment.
