
A man was shot and wounded Monday afternoon on a Manhattan street corner near Madison Square Park, police said.
The victim was shot at Madison Ave. and E. 28th St. in NoMad, two blocks uptown of the park, about 12:25 p.m., cops said.
The victim, believed to be in his 40s, is expected to survive, police said.
The circumstances of the broad daylight shooting were not immediately clear.
