Plans for the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library were introduced Monday to mixed reviews.
The enormous structure, which is draped in gold and towers over Miami, was introduced by Trump’s middle son, Eric Trump.
“FIRST LOOK: The Donald J. Trump Presidential Library is officially here,” Eric posted on social media.
The 42-year-old scion said he “poured my heart and soul” into the project over the past six months.
“This landmark on the water in Miami, Florida will stand as a lasting testament to an amazing man, an amazing developer, and the greatest President our Nation has ever known,” Eric said.
He invited the public to “enjoy” his brainchild.
That’s just what MAGA pundit Megyn Kelly did.
“Beautiful. Classy. Well done,” she posted on X.

Fans of the AI-generated model enjoyed the golden escalator in the building’s lobby, which resembles the one in Trump Tower where Trump launched his 2016 presidential campaign.
The lobby also houses a large jet that appears to be the $400-million aircraft gifted to Trump by the royal family of Qatar in May 2025. A huge golden statue of Trump and a large American flag are part of the decor.
Images of the project also feature a ballroom similar to the $400 million White House annex Trump is trying to have built.
People magazine noted Trump’s proposed library bares a striking resemblance to Lower Manhattan’s Freedom Center, which was built after the terror attacks on 9/11 destroyed the World Trade Center and killed nearly 3,000 people.
Democrats have expressed concerns about the funding of Trump’s presidential library. It’s to be financed in part by private donations and legal settlements some corporations struck with the President. A website showing off the building includes a link for donations.
Trump’s critics on ABC morning show “The View” were hard on the renderings. Moderator Whoopi Goldberg compared it to a male sex organ.
“It’s ironic, because he can’t read as it is,” panelist Joy Behar said upon viewing the proposal for Trump’s presidential library.
The tradition of U.S. president’s preserving their legacies with libraries began in 1939 under President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The Barack Obama Presidential Library will open in June. It’s not clear when Trump’s library will debut.
