A trial judge reportedly dismissed the sexual harassment claim in Blake Lively’s lawsuit against Justin Baldoni on Thursday.
Lively alleged her “It Ends with Us” co-star behaved inappropriately when the pair were working on that film. That claim, which included allegations that he gave her an unscripted kiss, were rejected Thursday, according to TMZ.
One factor in the New York City court’s decision was that Lively’s complaint relied on California sexual harassment law, but the alleged incidents occurred on a film set in New Jersey.
Lively’s defamation claim was also dismissed. In total, 10 of the 13 claims in the suit were tossed. However, her claim of retaliation on Baldoni’s part remains. The actors are due in court May 18.
