The Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center is presenting a new exhibit from the Walt Disney Archives.
“Capturing Life, Creating Character,” about the art of live-action reference, will be on display in the Muzeo’s Main Gallery through Nov. 1.
This is a fascinating look at the pursuit of character animation through a collection of rarely seen photographs of live performers and their animated counterparts.
Another exhibit, “AnaheimLand,” is showing in the Carnegie South Gallery, also through Nov. 1. ” AnaheimLand ” draws on the deep, living connection between our city and the Disneyland Resort. Don’t miss it.

Help Caterina’s Club celebrate its efforts
Caterina’s Club is celebrating 21 years of helping feed, house and educate children and families in need.
Its anniversary gala comes up on Sept. 27. This evening celebrates light, legacy and Impact.

Anaheim Fire & Rescue to offer CERT training
Be prepared and be informed and make a difference. Anaheim Fire & Rescue is offering CERT training, which is free and open to anyone interested in learning about how they can be an effective responder for their family and their community in an emergency.
Training is provided by the Anaheim Fire & Rescue Department using a nationally recognized 20-hour curriculum approved by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Participants will learn how to identify and anticipate hazards in the community, reduce fire hazards in the home and workplace, extinguish small fires, and more.

Shop crafters and artists
The Anaheim Craft & Vintage Fair is coming up on Sept. 19.
There will be more than 35 unique vendors for shoppers who are looking for a unique experience. These are crafters and artists who make what they sell.
There will also be great food for sale and a bake sale, too.
The fair will be hosted at the Annunciation Byzantine Catholic Church, 995 N. West St., from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entrance is free.

Volunteer as a docent at Founders’ Park
If you love learning about local history, join the others who share your love of community and be a docent at Anaheim’s historical park.
Founders’ Park docents have the opportunity to attend training, dress in vintage costumes, participate in open house events, participate in school tours, help with the seed library in the kitchen garden and decorate the buildings for Victorian Christmas Open House.
Founders’ Park features one of the city’s original homes, the 1857 Mother Colony House, and The Woelke-Stoffel House, a historic Queen Anne-style home built in 1894, as well as other buildings and displays that hark back to the city’s agricultural days.

First Sunday of the month hosts Cars & Coffee Classics from 8 a.m. to noon.
The Downtown Anaheim Farmers’ Market is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekly on Thursdays.
The last Sunday of each month is the Shop Small soiree from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
