Comedian and “Bob’s Burgers” voice actor Eugene Mirman says he is “relatively alright” following a fiery car crash in New Hampshire.

The 51-year-old funnyman was pulled from his 2026 Lucid Gravity after it crashed into New Hampshire’s Everett Turnpike’s Bedford Toll Plaza on Tuesday, according to Boston station WCVB.

Mirman posted a message on Instagram thanking fans and friends for their support. He also expressed gratitude to first responders and medics for their efforts.

“I am extraordinarily thankful to the heroic people that pulled me from the car and to the warm, kind and talented staff at the hospital that cared for me and got me on the mend!” Mirman wrote. I am thankful beyond words to be here and doing relatively alright, all things considered.”

A state trooper who was part of New Hampshire Gov. Kelly Ayotte’s security detail reportedly helped the entertainer exit his burning vehicle through a window.

Mirman said he’s without a phone and joked that’s the reason he hasn’t responded to friends by saying “I’d love to be on your podcast.”

He added: “I love you all and please take care of yourselves.”

Among the friends wishing him a speedy recovery was “The Tonight Show” bandleader Questlove.

“Man (hug),” he posted on Instagram.

Mirman has voiced the “Bob’s Burgers” character Gene Belcher on more than 300 episodes of the animated show and the 2022 movie. He was also instrumental in launching the Brooklyn comedy scene that kickstarted the careers of comics including John Oliver, John Mulaney, and Zach Galifianakis in the basement of Park Slope’s Union Hall 20 years ago.

The photo he posted alongside his Instagram message shows the comic smiling with bandages on his right hand and wrist.
