Tiger Woods appears sweaty and spacey in the immediate aftermath of his recent DUI rollover crash in Florida, newly released bodycam video shows.
The crash occurred in Hobe Sound on Friday around 2 p.m., not far from where Woods lives in Jupiter Island. Police said Woods at the time was attempting to a pass a pressure cleaner truck, eventually swerving in a bid to avoid a collision. He was unsuccessful, and his vehicle slammed into the back end of the truck’s trailer.
Woods’ car then rolled onto its driver’s side and he was forced to crawl out the window.

In the new bodycam video, 50-year-old Woods is kneeling by his wrecked Land Rover when officers arrive on the scene. He attempts to assure first responders that he is fine, then tries to offer an explanation for why he crashed, video shows.
“I looked down at my phone … and all of a sudden — boom,” Woods explains. He also tells them he was fiddling with the radio at the time, so he did not realize the car in front of him had slowed down.
One officer then described Woods’ eyes as “bloodshot and glassy” as he performs a variety of field sobriety tests at the crash site.
Authorities in an affidavit said the golf great appeared to show “severe signs of impairment” at the time, in addition to being “lethargic and slow.”

“I’m being arrested?” he asks as he’s put into cuffs, prompting an officer to respond: “At this time, I do believe your normal faculties are impaired.”
Officers then proceed to search Woods, who tells them there is nothing on his person that could poke them, denying he is in the possession of any drugs or weapons. The footage then shows an officer pulling cash, a pair of AirPods, a container of nicotine-free “focus pouches” and two opioid pills from Woods’ pocket.

According to previous reports, the pills were hydrocodone.
Woods did pass a breathalyzer test on the scene, but he refused to submit to a urinalysis test at the county jail. He also told deputies that he had taken painkillers earlier in the day.
Once in the back of the police cruiser, Woods can be seen struggling to stay awake as he battles a persistent case of hiccups. He was jailed on a count of DUI after refusing to take a urine test, which carries an additional charge. He was released later the same night on $1,150 bail.
