A 12-year-old boy, who was an innocent bystander, was fatally shot on Saturday and two men were wounded after an argument among six men erupted in gunfire in the Bronx, cops said.
The group of men were quarrelling around 4:54 p.m. at Eliot Place and Grand Concourse in Mount Eden when gunfire broke out, striking the young boy in the shoulder. Two men, ages 34 and 25, were also shot — one in the left leg, the other in the buttocks.
EMS transported the boy to Lincoln Hospital where he was in critical condition and later died.
The two wounded men went to Bronx Healthcare System by private means and were in stable condition.
It was unclear who the intended target of the gunfire was.
No arrests have been made.
