The Italian-American DJ, whose real name is Matteo Millerin, blew the crowd away with his visually stunning performance as he finally debuted his ÆDEN: Augmenting the Desert show with a little help from special guests and pyrotechnics.
With a massive screen behind him projecting scenes right out of a Greek tragedy, Anyma performed on a platform that at times elevated him 50 feet into the air between six giant pillars.
The characters projected onto the screen, which encompassed the entire stage, often interacted with the DJ, looking down at him as if they were Gods watching over him.
Special guests during the set included BlackPink’s Lisa — who also made an appearance during his weekend one Do LaB surprise set — Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, rapper Swae Lee and Japanese-Australian singer Joji.
