Cops have arrested a 24-year-old man for a December double shooting in Queens that took the life of a father of two, officials said Thursday.

Bryant Figueroa was spotted by members of the NYPD’s Quality of Life Division in Jackson Heights on Wednesday. The cops recognized him from a wanted poster of the suspect sought for the Dec. 11 killing of Oliver Nava.

Figueroa was brought to the 110th Precinct, where detectives charged him with murder and weapons possession.

Nava, 27, and a second man were outside a bodega on 108th St. near Waldron St. in Corona around 8:35 p.m. when Figueroa opened fire, striking them both, cops said.

Nava, who had two young children, was shot in the chest and died at Jamaica Hospital. The other man, 28, was shot in the leg and survived, but didn’t immediately cooperate with the investigation, police said.

Police said Nava had a criminal history with more than 30 arrests, including one for gun possession.

This is Figueroa’s first arrest in New York City, cops said. He lives in Elmhurst, about two miles from where Nava lived.

The two men were acquaintances, but it wasn’t immediately clear what sparked the shooting, a police source with knowledge of the case said.

Figueroa’s arraignment in Queens Criminal Court was pending Thursday.
