Dallas police said a man has been taken into custody Sunday after officers responded to a shooting in Red Bird and found two men dead.

Officers responded to the reported shooting in the 6600 block of Emhouse Street at 2:30 a.m. and found two men fatally shot, according to Dallas police.

Police said a male suspect barricaded himself at the location. SWAT was called to the scene and the man was taken into custody without incident, police said.

Dallas police have not immediately responded to The Dallas Morning News inquires on what charges the man faces.
