Delivery worker shot outside Brooklyn Chinese restaurant

An Uber Eats delivery driver was shot while picking up an order outside a Chinese takeout joint in Brooklyn on Friday, cops said.

The delivery man, 41, was struck outside the 482 Joy Garden on Riverdale Ave. near Hinsdale St. in Brownsville shortly after 8 p.m., according to law enforcement.

A witness told the Daily News he saw the victim stepping out of a red Ford car when he was struck.

“We heard the shots — boom! boom! boom!” said the witness, who declined to share his name. “He was lying on the ground, saying, ‘My leg, my leg.’ Everyone came running this way. It was crazy.”

Police found the victim lying in the middle of the street with a gunshot wound to his left thigh, according to to law enforcement sources. At least three rounds were fired, sources said.

The wounded delivery worker was taken to Brookdale Medical Center, where he is expected to survive.

A manager at the Chinese food restaurant said the victim was a delivery driver on his way to get an order.

“He was an Uber Eats driver picking up his order,” said the manager. “He never made it.”

Cops are looking for three men spotted fleeing the scene. One of them wore a blue jacket, while another wore a black jacket and black pants. Police could not immediately describe the third suspect.
