The father and son were in front of NYCHA’s Bushwick Houses on Bushwick Ave. near Varet St. when they were confronted by the 35-year-old gunman, whom the son knows.
An argument erupted and quickly escalated, police said, with the father shot in the right leg and his son shot in the abdomen. But the victims were able to disarm the shooter, police said, and then beat him with a black Easton baseball bat.
