You love bugs, right? Well, even if they make you shudder, they’re offering up a crawling good time on Saturday, April 25.
Head to the Riverside Main Library, where they’ll have cockroach races, 50 vendors and lots of other fun stuff to do. Learn how to start a bug collection, enjoy kids’ story time, special art and more. See, touch and learn about insects — for example, they all have a hard outer shell called an exoskeleton instead of bones, and three-part bodies with a head, thorax and abdomen. It’ll be bugged out.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. UC Riverside entomology graduate students will be there to meet and greet. Main Library, 3900 Mission Inn Ave., Riverside. riversideca.gov/insectfair
