Declutter.

Give something a second life instead of a trip to the landfill.

Find an unexpected treasure.

Whatever the motivation, residents have been flocking to the city’s Community Yard Sale Series both as shoppers and vendors. The latest was held at Independence Park over the weekend.

It costs $25 for residents to set up shop and $35 for non-residents. From clothing to toys, knick-knacks to collectibles, all sorts of items were seen for sale on Saturday.

The upcoming sale days are May 2, Aug. 1 and Oct. 3; contact the city’s Parks & Recreation Department at 714-738-2803 to participate.
