It’s time for the free Rancho Fiesta Days at Heritage Hill

Head out for some free old-fashioned fun on Saturday, May 2 at the annual Rancho Days Fiesta at Heritage Hill, celebrating the roots of Orange County. This event is located at a park with a collection of historic buildings in Lake Forest.

There will be plenty of activities to experience from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., including charro-style horseback riding and roping, live music, craft workshops, folklorico and Native American dancing, piñatas and more.

The day celebrates the early history of the Saddleback Valley, especially the area around El Toro, from the era of the Mexican land-grant ranchos through the founding of El Toro to the citrus farms of the last century.

In addition to other activities, the 4.1-acre park’s restored and furnished historic buildings will be open for tours led by volunteer docents.
