Journey is bidding farewell more than half-century after the rock band’s founding, with the group announcing on Thursday their plan to kick off their final tour next year.

The band — currently led by Arnel Pineda, original guitarist Neal Schon, keyboardists Jonathan Cain and Jason Derlatka, drummer Deen Castronovo and bassist Todd Jensen — confirmed the “Final Frontier Tour 2026” will play at least 60 dates in North America from late February through early July.

The “first leg” of the act begins Feb. 28 in Hershey, Pa., with stops in Trenton, N.J. on March 5 and Atlantic City on May 23. The tour will also head to Upstate New York for a show in Buffalo on June 10 before ultimately wrapping on July 2 in Laredo, Texas.

Tickets for the currently scheduled stops go on sale Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. ET, with additional dates expected to be announced in the future.

One day before the confirming the tour, Journey teased its final act with a post on Instagram featuring a galactic backdrop. “The Journey continues into the Final Frontier,” it read, with the band’s “Separate Ways” playing in the background.

This tour is our heartfelt thank you to the fans who’ve been with us every step of the way — through every song, every era, every high and low,” Schon said in a statement to Rolling Stone on Thursday. “We’re pulling out all the stops with a brand-new production — the hits, the deep cuts, the energy, the spectacle. It’s a full-circle celebration of the music that’s brought us all together.”

“While this marks a farewell to one powerful chapter of the Journey we’ve shared, I want everyone to know I’m not done,” Schon added. “This tour is both a thank you and the beginning of what’s next.”

Founded in 1973, Journey has become known around the world for hits like “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Any Way You Want It” and “Faithfully.” But despite its popularity, the band has only ever scored one Grammy nomination — Best Pop Performance By a Duo or Group With Vocal for “When You Love A Woman” in 1997.

However, years later, “Don’t Stop Believin’” was inducted as a single into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2021. Schon and Cain are also members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame alongside original and early Journey members Ross Valory, Steve Perry, Gregg Rolie, Aynsley Dunbar and Steve Smith.
