Leah Remini has got a new gig.
The “King of Queens” actress took to social media Wednesday night to reveal to fans that she is joining the upcoming 16th season of the “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
“It’s true!!” she captioned an Instagram photo from a past appearance on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live.”
It’s not the first time Remini, a two-time Emmy-award winner, has dabbled in reality television. She has competed on “Dancing With the Stars” and starred in her own TLC show “Leah Remini: It’s All Relative.”
A dedicated advocate against the Church of Scientology, of which she is a former member, Remini also served as creator, host and executive producer of the documentary series “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath.”
Also joining the “Real Housewives” cast this season is former “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” star Tracy Tutor. There had long been whispers that two new women would be joining the franchise, and Tutor confirmed some of those suspicions last week.
“Well… the secret’s officially out. I’m joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and I could not be more excited for this next chapter,” she wrote on Instagram.
“Beverly Hills is home. I’ve raised my girls here, built my career here, and now apparently I’ve decided to let you all even further into my life,” Tutor continued. “Excited? Very. Nervous? A little. Likely to get into some trouble? Absolutely. So what’s left to say but, Let’s f—ing go.”
The casting updates also come just weeks after Amanda Frances, an influencer, announced her departure from the show. She only appeared in the 15th season.
