A 19-year-old man was shot in the stomach outside a Brooklyn sneaker store on Monday, according to cops and witnesses.
The victim was found suffering a bullet wound to the gut outside a McDonald’s on Coney Island Ave. near Ave. U in Sheepshead Bay around 2:33 p.m., according to law enforcement.
Witnesses said the victim was struck when a gunman opened fire outside Chamber 13, a sneaker shop located on Avenue U just over a block away from the fast food restaurant.
“There were two shots. There was a kid, a teenager, hit in the stomach over by the sneaker store,” said the witness, who asked to remain anonymous. “He was bleeding. I didn’t stick around to see any more.”
Medics rushed the victim to Maimonides Medical Center, where he is expected to survive.
There were no arrests.
