A 21-year-old man was gunned down execution style outside a Bronx apartment building on Monday, cops said.
The victim was struck in the head on E. 187th St. near Park Ave. in Fordham shortly before 7 p.m., according to law enforcement.
A nearby resident said the victim was standing on the sidewalk wearing a black mask when a single gunshot rang out.
“There was one shot. He was lying right there on the sidewalk, bleeding from the head,” said the witness, who asked to remain anonymous. “That’s his hat over there, it looks like a Yankees hat. The cops were pumping his chest, trying to bring him back, but he was dead.”
Footage obtained by the Daily News shows police performing CPR on the victim as he lies unconscious on the sidewalk, blood leaking from the wound in his head.
Medics rushed the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he died.
There were no arrests.
