A 24-year-old man was shot dead on Randalls Island, police said Tuesday.
The victim was shot in the head near Gate Circle and the East River about 12:35 p.m. Monday, police said. He died at the scene.
Police said the victim may have been living at the homeless shelter on Randalls Island, across from East Harlem. His name was not immediately released.
No arrests have been made.
