A 28-year-old man out for a stroll in Harlem was wounded in a hail of gunfire Thursday, cops said.
The victim was hit in the right leg on Park Ave. near E. 127th St. when a gunman opened fire around 6:19 p.m., according to police.
When questioned by police, the victim told investigators he was “just walking” when he was hit, a law enforcement source said.
A witness told the Daily News he saw three men wearing black hoodies and backpacks approach the victim and fire at point-blank range.
“It sounded like fireworks, at least five shots,” said Daniel Lasso, 35. “I ducked behind the black Jeep because they were still shooting as they ran down the block.”

After the gunfire died down, Lasso peeked from behind cover to see the victim hopping on one leg heading south on Park Ave., he said.
“I asked him if he was ok. He said, ‘Yeah, but I just got shot,’” Lasso recounted.
Medics rushed the victim to Harlem Hospital, where he’s expected to survive.
A trail of blood and bloody shoeprints could be seen drying on Park Ave. Thursday evening.
“Unfortunately New York City is getting a bit rowdy nowadays,” Lasso said.
There were no arrests.
