A 29-year-old man was shot to death outside a Bronx apartment building early Sunday, police said.
The victim was shot in the chest on Haviland Ave. near the Cross Bronx Expressway in Castle Hill about 12:15 a.m., cops said.
He was taken by private means to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he died. His name was not immediately released.
No arrests have been made.
The killing marks the second homicide this year in the 43rd Precinct, which saw four slayings through May 17 of last year and 12 in all of 2025, NYPD stats show.
