A 31-year-old man died when he lost control of his car and crashed about a mile from his Staten Island home, cops said Sunday.
Christopher Sabbagh was driving west on Forest Ave. in West Brighton in a 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage when he slammed into a utility pole and then a parked Ford SUV at North Burgher Ave. about 9:50 p.m. Saturday, police said.
Medics rushed Sabbagh to Richmond University Medical Center but he could not be saved.
Cops are investigating what caused Sabbagh to crash.
