A 62-year-old man suffered a fractured skull after an argument on the platform of a Queens subway station ended when he was shoved headfirst into a pillar, cops said Tuesday.
Cops have released surveillance images of the attacker in the hopes someone recognizes him.
The victim was exiting a No. 7 train at the Vernon Blvd-Jackson Ave. stop in Long Island City when the suspect picked a fight with him about 4:05 p.m. on Saturday, according to law enforcement.
The pair were arguing when the other man pushed the victim, causing him to fall backwards and strike his head against the column, said police.
Medics rushed the victim to Bellevue Hospital, where he was expected to survive.
The suspect ran off. No arrests have been made.
Cops said the shover was last seen wearing a black shirt and durag.
