
A 73-year-old man knocked unconscious in a Brooklyn street fight with a man decades younger died three weeks later — and his accused attacker has been charged with manslaughter, police said Thursday.
Anthony Finale got into a quarrel with his killler on Avenue T near E. 57th St. in Mill Basin about 12:15 p.m. Nov. 24, cops said.
Cops responding to a 911 call for an assault found Finale unconscious and unresponsive with head trauma. Medict rushed him in critical condition to Brookdale University Hospital, where he died Dec. 14.
Finale was about a mile from home when was assaulted. The city Medical Examiner deemed his death a homicide.
A week after the attack, about nooon on Dec. 1, cops arrested 31-year-old Marvin Bonilla.
Cops initially charged Bonilla with assault. After Finale died, a grand jury indicted him for manslaughter in addition to assault. He was released on $20,000 bail after he was arraigned on the manslaughter charges on Jan. 28.
Bonilla lives in Canarsie, according to cops. A call to his attorney wasn’t immediately returned Thursday.
