An unidentified man was killed as he tried to cross a major Bronx highway early Saturday, police said.

The victim was crossing the westbound lanes of the Bruckner Expressway near the White Plains Road exit in Soundview around 5:30 a.m. when he was struck by an unidentified vehicle.

Cops called to the scene found the victim crumpled on the roadway, unconscious and with severe injuries to his head and body.

EMS rushed him to Jacobi Hospital, where he died.

Cops were trying to identify the victim Saturday.

The driver who hit him didn’t remain at the scene, cops said. No arrests have been made.
