A man was shot and killed late Monday afternoon in West Philadelphia, police said.
Just before 5:20 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting near the intersection of North 54th and Arlington Streets.
The man, who was not identified, was taken by police to Lankenau Medical Center. He was pronounced dead at 5:36 p.m.
Police reported no arrests.
