A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Imperial Highway in Placentia on Wednesday, July 22, police said.
A 23-year-old Yorba Linda man on a motorcycle, heading west on Imperial Highway, and a vehicle making a left turn from eastbound Imperial Highway into a shopping center collided around 12:30 p.m., Sergeant Frank Garza said.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by Placentia fire officials, police said.
The driver remained at the scene and was cooperative, Garza said. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected to be a factor in this crash, he said.
